Sarah & Nick | Old Economy Wedding Photographer

Sarah and Nick were married at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Ambridge and held their reception at The Club at Shadow Lakes. You may remember Sarah and Nick from their engagement session last fall. We had the most beautiful light at Old Economy for their photographs.

Sarah and Nick opted for a ‘first look’ so that we could take photos prior to the ceremony. They were so excited to see each other.

I really enjoy Greek Orthodox ceremonies (in spite of the fact that the Father introduced himself by saying how much he detests photographers, ha. Thankfully, we made our peace and worked well together).Beaver Wedding Photographer

I shot at Holy Trinity in 2008 – I remember that guy! He said the exact same thing to me. And even though I was completely polite, discreet and respectful about everything during the whole lead up to the ceremony, he still insisted that I shoot the ceremony from OUTSIDE the actual sanctuary – no exceptions. I was shooting through the back doors from the hallway with a tripod because I had no other choice! I’m glad to see he relaxed a little and you could at least get a nice side angle shot. Greek Orthodox ceremonies are fantastic and so full of meaning and tradition – it’s a shame not to be able to capture their beauty!

  • “Loving the bright flowers” shot is my favorite. Very well done and romantic. I like how you engage the couples into a very romantic interaction. Good work!
