Amber & Jared | Beaver Wedding Photographer

Amber and Jared were married at Mt. Pleasant Church in Raccoon Township and held their reception at Franzees Javy’s in Ambridge. I was THRILLED to be a guest at their wedding, but of course I brought my camera, I’m in the business of love!

It was fun to photograph in our own church.

I remember when she was a little girl (am I getting old?), and now she is a beautiful young woman!Beaver Wedding Photographer
We photographed in the wooded area behind our church which borders my parents property (where I grew up). I used to walk this trail and think to myself… if only I had a bride and groom with me…Beaver Wedding PhotographerBeaver Wedding Photographer
These two are so fun and so in love!Beaver Wedding PhotographerBeaver Wedding Photographer
Amber and Jared had the anniversary dance at their reception and my parents won!! They have been married 45 years, longer than anyone else in attendance. Aren’t they cute? My dad says, “what did we win?” Ha.Beaver Wedding Photographer

My dad took this photo of me rockin’ the dance floor. I love LOVE to dance, but never have the opportunity. Do you know how hard it is to be at a reception every weekend and not be able to join in the dancing? My mom is looking at me like I’m crazy…. and she’s right!

Beaver Wedding PhotographerBridal tip: One of my boudoir clients recently introduced me to Rent the Runway, a fabulous website where you can rent designer dresses at a fraction of the price. I rented this dress from designer Catherine Malandrino and loved it. When you are renting a designer for the first time, they will send you the dress in two sizes at no charge. You can also rent a second dress for only $25. This was my backup dress. The experience was flawless, such a brilliant concept. I think it would be great for brides to rent a dress and jewelry for their shower, rehearsal or even honeymoon.
