Sweet Olivia | Pittsburgh Newborn Photographer

Congratulations to Vanessa and Erik on the birth of their second child, and first daughter, Olivia Frances! Isn’t she an angel?

Pittsburgh Newborn Photographer

I photographed Vanessa and Erik’s wedding in 2007 and the birth of Simon in 2009.

When they contacted me to tell me they were expecting again, I was thrilled. I have really enjoyed watching their family grow.

Caitlin & Justin | Winter White Wedding

Congratulations to Caitlin and Justin, they were married at Christ Prince of Peace Church in Ford City, and held their reception at Pittsburgh’s Grand Hall at The Priory. They were the winners of the The Priory’s Winter White Wedding giveaway, details about this event can be found here. Caitlin was stunning in her birdcage veil, and she has the bluest eyes I have ever seen!

I love images like this… Craig captured this photograph just moments before the bridesmaids walked down the aisle.

Caitlin’s parents giving her away to her groom, her smile is infectious.

It was a little too cold to photograph outside, but we had fantastic light in the doorway of the church. I love this image in black and white, feels so clean and timeless.

Clearly, I could not get enough of her veil, it was fun to photograph.

In true March form, the weather was interesting and a bit unpredictable… but I think the snow is what makes this photograph.

The Priory looked amazing as usual, I really enjoy photographing in The Grand Hall. I cannot say enough good things about the owners and staff at The Priory, they are simply the best. They are generous, kind, selfless, and genuine. I was thrilled to be a part of their third annual Winter White Wedding and am really looking forward to next year!

Love those little toes.

I think she was trying to tell me that all this posing was just too much, she needed a break. Tara and Chuck make the cutest babies.

HP Digital Solutions Cooperative (DSCOOP) Recap

Returned home from Orlando yesterday after one of the most amazing and thrilling experiences of my professional career.  Speaking on behalf of HP to printers, lab owners and paper providers was both an honor and pleasure.  I was overwhelmed by all of the passion and creativity, these people love substrate!! (Fancy word for paper). The entire event was flawlessly executed and incredibly impressive. Everything was first class and the education was invaluable.

I am posting images of my business card because I ran out towards the end of the conference. A special thanks to Marathon Press (one of my favorite labs) for providing me with these beautiful die cut cards, everyone thought that they were so unique.

DSCOOP
This was my first time speaking at an international event, and I am thrilled to have made new friends from all over the world (my session was translated in four languages – awesome!). When I first arrived on Thursday, I decided to check out the ballroom where I would be speaking. When I walked into the keynote, I was overwhelmed by the size of this room. This photo (taken with my phone) only captures about half of the room, capacity: 1,800. Whoa, wait, what??? I immediately sent a text my HP handler to ask her why I was in this ENORMOUS ballroom. She indicated that they would most likely section off part of the room for my presentation. It turns out that they didn’t, but the room was nowhere near this full. Whew.

My presentation, specifically geared towards why I choose to partner with HP Indigo solution providers, went better than I could have ever hoped. The feedback thus far has been very positive and I could not be happier. I cannot thank everyone enough for their kind words and encouragement, I especially appreciate the attendees that took the time to speak to me after my presentation.

If you attended DSCOOP and have any questions regarding my presentation, or the products I discussed, please feel free to contact me.
