Had a fantastic time on the North Shore with Stefanie and Phil for their engagement photos. Not always easy to catch a blue sky in Pittsburgh!

Stefanie and Phil are getting married next month is a small, private ceremony. Such a handsome couple.
The weather was a little questionable during their session, but it produced wonderfully soft light.
Look at that diamond!

Loved her beautiful eyes, she is so photogenic.

Nellie + Chris | Pittsburgh Engagement

I had the pleasure of meeting Nellie several years ago at a wedding, we kept in touch over the years, and I was thrilled when she called me to tell me that she was engaged. We photographed their engagement session in and around Phipps Conservatory in Oakland. I love this photo of her, feels timeless.

Nellie and Chris will be married this November and I can’t wait! After spending a few hours with them it is obvious that they were made for one another.
These two have an unspoken and palpable chemistry that makes it easy to capture their love.
Notice their expressions in the following two photos… always laughing.
Sexy.

Such a handsome couple, can you imagine how amazing they will look on their wedding day?!

Had a wonderful time with Kristina and Adam photographing their engagement session at Mellon Park. Once again, the October light was absolutely perfect. Love her eyes in this photo.
These two have been together since they were teenagers and they are so in love!
YES!! More flare! Lovin’ the sun.
These two had such wonderful, easy expressions, and I love the lines of the stairs behind them.
I love the way the sun was shining on her face, almost like a warm, soft spotlight. We were laying in the leaves for this photograph.
Seriously, could the light get any better? I wish this October light would last forever.
Can’t wait for Kristina and Adam’s wedding in May!

Had fantastic light for Sarah and Nick’s engagement session on the North Side. I love getting sun flare, but decided to process this one as a black and white. Just love the feel of the moment.
We just walked around the North Side and found some really cool places to photograph.
Digging the bright, fun, saturated colors!
October lighting is so amazing, especially just before sunset.
Really loved this line of trees in the park, but was somewhat surprised that they haven’t changed colors yet.
Sarah and Nick will be getting married next June, so excited for them!

Jacki & Chris | Phipps Engagement Photography

Had a wonderful time with Jacki and Chris at Phipps Conservatory last week for their engagement session.

Chris and Jacki have a lot of fun together, it’s clear that they are in love. I feel so lucky to be a part of it!

I love all of the brick at Phipps, especially in the doorways.

We were lucky enough to have gorgeous weather for their engagement photographs. I am lovin’ the sun!

Congratulations to Jacki and Chris, they will be getting married this October!

Maggie & Dustin | Greenmoor Common Equestrian Center Engagement

I met Maggie and Dustin earlier this year at Kristie and Mike’s wedding. We met at Greenmoor Common Equestrian Center where Maggie’s horse, Jenny, lives.

We were delightfully surprised that some of the trees still had their pretty leaves!

Dustin is in the military and they hadn’t seen each other for three months.

And this is Jenny! She was busy playing, but I wanted to show her beautiful colors. The fabulous Kristie was there earlier in the day and groomed Jenny for the photographs.

This is Kristie’s horse, Cody. She tells me that he is a handful, but wonderful!

Maggie is such a wonderful person, she has an infectious personality.

Oh man, look at all of those leaves! It was wonderful!

This is one of Maggie’s favorite trails to ride Jenny.

BTW, fallen pine needles are very slippery.

Jenny was more interested in eating than getting her picture taken… until…

She saw her Maggie giving someone else some love.

Look at that sky, we were so lucky that the sun broke through the clouds momentarily.

Maggie and Dustin will be getting married at Springwood
next June and I can’t wait!
