Jen and Brent were married, and held their reception at the Pittsburgh Athletic Association in Oakland. It was a gorgeous day for a wedding, lovin’ that sky! Image by Craig.
Oh.my.gosh. A birdcage veil!!! I LOVE IT! And Jen wore it so beautifully. Also had an awesome floral piece in her hair.
A palette of soft pink, my favorite.
This was where they held their ceremony, we were able to take quite a few photographs prior to their nuptials.
This is Brent’s grandfather, I love the character in his hands.
Lighting the unity candle, which would prove very interesting in just a few short minutes. Brent’s brother, and best man, was signing the document to witness the ceremony and he leaned a little too close to the candle. Yes, his hair caught on fire!!! Thankfully, Jen acted quickly and extinguished the flames. Because no one was injured, it was really funny.
Jen and Brent allowed plenty of time for photographs (love that) so we headed over to the Cathedral of Learning and found this wonderful garden of hydrangea’s.
I could have photographed in that garden all day.
Brent chose chocolate brown for the color of his tux, a great fit with the pink and purple hues.
The bus almost blew Jen away, but I love the expression!
So fun when a groom spins his new bride on the dance floor.
A few of my favorite details.
The reception was a BLAST, could have danced and photographed all night. Craig captured this fun shot of me, he loves to play with slow shutter speeds. We love our job!!!
